This year we will be participating in an experiment called Project Noah. Over the course of the year we will be making weekly posts which will include assignments which, if followed, can help your family be better prepared for emergencies.
These assignments will include items to purchase, an activity to do with your family and a motivational quote. We also will be including monthly suggestions of items to buy in bulk and "dry pack" in addition to the weekly purchase items.
Here in Virginia you can obtain these items at the LDS Home Storage Center (aka Cannery/Dry Pack) in Maryland or you can purchase them at a local grocery store or wholesale store. We also plan to share our own family's journey to being better prepared as the year unfolds.
